B. Kenpo Basics Page (Kids 8yrs – 14yrs)
Kenpo Basics Program (Basic Training) Our Basic Training program, comparable to 'freshman year', is designed to help young students understand the underling foundation of martial arts. Our professional staff will work with students not only to develop physical skill, but also teach that a martial artist must have focus, respect, courtesy, and drive in order to achieve his/her goals. They will learn drills and exercises that will condition their minds and bodies for higher levels of training in the future. Our goal at this level is to help each student realize that the road to black belt may be challenging, but if we stay focused on our goals and contain the good qualities of the martial artist within us, we can accomplish anything we put our mind to. After about 10 months of training your child may qualify for our Black Belt Training program. The Black Belt Training Program is the heart of our children’s program and is designed for kids serious about the pursuit of black belt. If your child doesn’t qualify we will recommend other schools or activities that may better fit their needs. Curriculum
Our program can help kids to:

When they teach me something, they don' t just tell me what to do, but they show me and make sure I understand. They make sure that I have fun while learning, and the past year I've spent there has been one of the best experiences I've ever had." Joseph Tache, Junior Purple Belt "Martial Posture is the best!!!
